Experience Louisiana Festival (LSU-Eunice, 2048 Johnson Highway, Eunice, 337-580-3363: October 17th-18th. The event features a range of food, music, art, crafts and other aspects of Louisiana culture. Hours TBA. Admission free.

– Faubourg Pumpkin Patch – pumpkins for sale in the shop or farm stand, pumpkin patch-pick in the field, porta-potties, picnic area (bring your own food), farm animals, school tours

Lafayette Parish
– Museum of Fear: 7-11 p.m. Friday, Oct, 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1 on the third floor of the Lafayette Science Museum, located at 433 Jefferson St. in Lafayette.  Admission is $10. Proceeds will benefit museum exhibits and programs. For more information, call 337-291-5544

-Fall Fun Fest: 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31 at Girard Park. Children ages 12 and younger are invited to participate in games, face painting, arts and crafts and a costume contest. Food and drink will be available. For more information, call 337-291-8370 or 337-291-5558.

-Fall concert: 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2 at Angelle Hall on the University of Louisiana at Lafayette campus. Admission is free. The UL Lafayette Chamber Singers and Chorale will perform. Songs performed will focus on themes of day and night, life and death.

– The Pumpkin Patch “The Pumpkin Patch” is the best place in Lafayette, LA to purchase your pumpkins and have an AMAZING family experience. 2015 is our 11th anniversary! The Patch is a church-wide mission project, typically open every day in the month of October and admission is FREE! All of the proceeds from the pumpkin patch go to charities & missions in the community and beyond. God has blessed our church with so much; this is our way of showing God’s love to the people in Acadiana and around the world. Pumpkin sales, concessions, maze, hay rides, face painting, photo ops, Christy’s Brain Freeze Snowballs and loads of FUN!! -Sweet Dough Pie Festival (St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 174 Church St., Grand Coteau, 337-662-3058; October 24th— Live music, blacksmith demonstrations, a pie contest and 50 arts and crafts and other vendors participate in the festival celebrating the culture and history of Grand Coteau. Hours 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Admission free.
